MASTER IN STRATEGIC AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES
OBJECTIVES
This Master’s program in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies aims to provide an in-depth training necessary to understand and analyze international phenomena that influence the relations between nations or groupings of countries and shape the development of the increasingly globalized economy. This Master program seeks in particular to deepen the knowledge of certain issues related to the geopolitical and global geostrategic stakes.
It addresses civil and military candidates who wish to work in the national public function, international organizations (diplomacy) and large firms operating transnationally or in communication. The program also prepares for the pursuit of doctoral studies in disciplines related to international phenomena.
DIPLOMA
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a double diploma:
Lebanese delivered by the Lebanese Canadian University – LCU
French delivered by the “Centre d’Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques (CEDS) », Paris, (under the auspices of “ l’École de Hautes Études Internationales (HEI))

The program is offered in French and/or in English (Arabic is optional).

18 months (39 credits)
STUDY SCHEDULE
Part-time, evening class studies
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in all specializations, particularly in political science, law, strategic and diplomatic studies, history, humanities, public administration and management.
- The consent of the university’s Academic Advisory Committee after studying the applicant’s file.

Successful graduates from this program will be able to undertake advanced studies (Doctorate).
REQUIRED ADMISSION DOCUMENTS
•3 recent passport-size photos;
•A photocopy of the National Identity Card or a recent Personal Civil Status Record (or a photocopy of the passport for foreign applicants);
•A certified photocopy of a recent Family Civil Status Record (for Lebanese nationals only);
•An attestation from the National Social Security Fund or its equivalent, if applicable;
•A certified copy of the degree granted by the university of origin;
•A certified copy of official transcripts for university-level studies issued by the university
•A certified copy of the university degree’s equivalence issued by the ministry of Higher Education
•A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent issued by the ministry of Higher Education
•An evidence of relevant work experience if applicable;
•2 letters of recommendation ;
•A curriculum vitae ;
•A cover letter ;
