Bachelor in Translation and Living Languages
The Translation and Living Languages program at the Lebanese Canadian University – LCU prepares students to master multiple living languages and to develop professional translation and communication skills across cultural and linguistic contexts. The program focuses on language proficiency, translation techniques, linguistics, and intercultural communication, enabling students to translate accurately and effectively between different languages. Through a combination of theoretical study and practical application, students acquire strong written and oral communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and cultural awareness. Emphasizing professional ethics and contemporary translation practices, the program prepares graduates for careers in translation, interpretation, language services, education, media, and related fields, as well as for advanced academic studies.
