The Marketing Management program prepares the students to be responsive to the total environment by providing technical skills and competencies in the areas of marketing.
Theory is blended with practicum activities to the students a broad and enriched base for their marketing career.
The objectives of the program are (1) Help students to seek employment and entry level jobs or positions of responsibility as marketing manager, marketing executive or marketing director. (2) Guide students in organizing or managing entrepreneurial activities if they decide to be self-employed. (3) Equip students with knowledge of the principles and concepts of marketing. (4) Prepare students to pursue a teaching career or graduate studies in business.
The main objectives of this program is to provide the following:
- Design and develop marketing solutions for current retail environments by employing appropriate marketing strategies.
- Apply knowledge of basic management skills to maximize employee productivity.
- Evaluate and apply marketing practices to create measurable results to meet marketing objectives.
- Use foundational skills and knowledge to remain current with marketing and management strategies and trends and employ them in new business problem solving and decision-making skills through the use of appropriate technology and with the understanding of environments.
-Utilize effective communication, business environment.
Upon the successful completion of the program, LCU students will be awarded a double diploma:
-Lebanese delivered by the Lebanese Canadian University - LCU
-French granted by the “Institut des Professions des Affaires et du Commerce” / IPAC / France
LANGUAGES OF INSTRUCTION
The program is offered in French and/or in English.
Three years (105 credits)
Part-time, day and evening class courses
2 semesters per academic year : Fall and spring (summer courses are optional.)
-Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent degree
-Accredited Freshman (programs available at LCU)
-The consent of the University’s Academic Advisory Committee after studying the applicant’s school file
REQUIRED ADMISSION DOCUMENTS
•3 recent passport-size photos;
•A photocopy of the National Identity Card or a recent Personal Civil Status Record (or a photocopy of the passport for foreign applicants);
•A certified photocopy of a recent Family Civil Status Record (for Lebanese nationals only);
•An attestation from the National Social Security Fund or its equivalent, if applicable;
•A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent issued by the Ministry of Higher Education;
•Holders of the Technical Baccalaureate (BT3) must have their degree certified and then receive the equivalent rating of their degree by the Commission of equivalences;
•A copy of the official transcripts, certified by the school of origin, for the last three years of secondary school;
•A certified copy of the official transcripts of any prior university study, if applicable;
Documents must be prepared in French or in English; if not, they must be accompanied with certified French or English translations made at the university, except for the Family Civil Status Record and the attestation from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
