The Lebanese-Canadian University was founded in Aintoura - Kesrouan under Decree 3585/2000 issued on 11/5/2000 and known as the "Ecole Supérieure et Internationale de Gestion. The Faculty of Business Administration was the first faculty established delivering a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration (MBA Research and Executive MBA) in cooperation with the multinational universities. All its degrees are accredited by the Commission of equivalences under Resolution 27, 28, 29 and 30 / 24 / 2003. The University offers double degrees in partnership with different universities.

In 2007, Decree No 778/2007 issued on 4/10/2007 conferred upon our establishment the status of University under the name of "Lebanese Canadian University - LCU" which includes 3 faculties: Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Science and Art, Faculty of Humanities.
