Emphasizing applied research, motivated by ongoing careers, a DBA is culminated with a publicly-defended thesis. A DBA holder can gain access to senior executive management and high-level business consultancy, and acquire the necessary academic qualifications that are needed in order to teach at a business school.

 A practical degree

Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) offers a unique, part-time DBA program in both English and French that allows participants to combine their career with doctoral research. All workshops are conveniently held in Lebanon as well as in Grenoble, France. The program focuses on the management of organizational change, as well as on new and existing technologies for business innovation. Participants will gain knowledge to develop their research and analytical skills and, drawing from their own experiences, to produce a cutting-edge thesis on current business and management issues, often based on their own company’s current and anticipated needs.

A prestigious DBA

The DBA degree is awarded by Grenoble Ecole de Management, ranked 20   amongst Europe’s top business schools by the Financial Times in December 2010, and one of the few worldwide institutions to have achieved the “Triple Crown” of business school accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

The mission of GEM is to advance corporate performance by providing skills and knowledge through excellence in pedagogical innovation and applied research.

Through continuous improvement of the intellectual contributions of its academic and professional programs, GEM seeks to promote responsible business practices through expertise in management of technology and innovation.

Through international development, GEM aims to provide its students with a multicultural educational experience, offer its faculty opportunities for professional exchange and fulfil its corporate partners’ recruitment needs, locally and internationally.

The program is co-administered by the Faculty of Business Administration of the Lebanese Canadian University (LCU), which is accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education.
