World class academic programs, highly competent professional and seasoned faculty, serious and motivated students, sound and dynamic student life, cutting edge equipments, as well as a campus built according to international standards: many assets that enabled our university to carve an enviable reputation in a highly competitive market. The official recognition, through the presidential decree no 778 / 2007 and the ministerial order no 1035/m/2008, has crowned these achievements and expertise, and conferred upon our establishment the official status: University.
In recognition of the Lebanese Canadian University's efforts, drive and well established credibility, these decrees have also paved the way to both academic and property development.
In addition to the Faculty of Business Administration, formerly known as "Ecole Supérieure et Internationale de Gestion (ESIG)", two new faculties have been established: the Faculty of Science and Art and the Faculty of Humanities. In parallel, construction works are on move.
Providing academic programs that are built on partnerships with prestigious European and North-American universities, internationally reputed for their excellence and innovation, remains the mainstream development policy. LCU remains faithful to its original mission by providing our young Lebanese students an academic education and prestigious degrees with international caliber, while maintaining our tuition fees at a reasonable level in order to make it affordable to most students.
After more than eight years of existence, LCU has ensured an education of around one thousand graduates who are active in various fields of the labor market.
The ultimate ambition of the university is to provide our students with a coherent set of constantly updated educational programs, to respond to personal objectives of professional insertion, as well as to the recruitment needs of our local, national and international marketplace in permanent evolution.
